About Diamond Empire

A US based dealer built around one stone at a time

Diamond Empire is a USA owned and operated business dealing in loose diamonds. We don't set stones or run a retail counter — we source, grade, and hand off diamonds to jewelers, resellers, and individual buyers who want to see the paperwork before they see the ring.

Every diamond we offer is IGI certified, meaning it has been examined and documented by the International Gemological Institute before it ever reaches you. You get the stone and its report together, so the 4Cs on paper match the stone in hand.

What's on the report

The four things that set a diamond's value

Cut, color, clarity, and carat weight are graded and recorded on every IGI report we provide, so you can compare stones on paper before committing to one.

01

Cut

How precisely the diamond's facets are proportioned and angled, which governs how it handles light.

02

Color

Graded on a scale from colorless to light yellow or brown — the less color, the higher the grade.

03

Clarity

The presence, size, and position of internal and surface characteristics under magnification.

04

Carat

The diamond's weight, measured in carats — one carat equals 0.2 grams.

IGI certification

Why we only sell certified stones

  • i.

    Independent grading

The International Gemological Institute grades the stone separately from us, so the report reflects an outside assessment, not our word.

  • ii.

A report tied to the stone

Each report carries a unique number and the diamond's measurements, so it can be checked against the physical stone.

  • iii.

A record for resale or insurance

Buyers, jewelers, and insurers can rely on the same document long after the sale.

"A loose diamond without a report is a diamond you have to take someone's word for. We'd rather hand you the paperwork."

Ask us for the IGI report number on any stone before you buy, and verify it directly with IGI.
